Welcome
The Napa Clayhouse offers a time and a place for the opportunity to paint unglazed / unfinished pottery. We then "fire" your pottery in our kiln for you to take home or give away as handmade gifts. All ages are welcome and you don't need to be an artist to paint pottery — let your creativity and imagination take over!
The Napa Clayhouse is a great idea for birthdays to bridal showers. We offer a large variety of pottery for you to paint including, coffee mugs, picture frames, platters, plates, tiles and much more. You'll have over 50 color glazes to choose from. Glazes are essentially "liquid glass" and will harden, and brighten in color with a glossy finish after being fired in the kiln. Proprietor, Beth will let you know when your pottery will be available for pick up.
The Clayhouse welcomes groups and parties of up to 10 people and bringing snacks and drinks is OK.

Birthdays
The Clayhouse is the perfect place to host your next birthday party! Birthday parties include:
• Two hours of studio time
• 6-10 painters
• Bisque item valued at $15

• $26.50 per child (tax included)
Bridal Showers
The gift of pottery painted by loved ones! A unique and special way to bring love into the couple’s new home! We have tons of thematic ideas (cake and dessert plates, teapot and teacups, pitcher and margarita glasses, etc.) that will create a memorable event. Please call for rates.

Baby Hand or Foot Imprints

Create a priceless keepsake by imprinting your child's foot or hand prints in clay. Choose from picture frames, ornaments, mugs or clocks! Great gifts for moms, dads and grandparents and don't forget yourself! Prices range from $15-$45. Ask about underglaze ink and letter stamping!
Painting with Ali
Wednesdays 5-8pm
Join us for an OLD technique in a NEW setting. We are so excited to offer this ongoing painting class. It is offered to beginning and intermediate students. Beginning students will warm up to "Majolica" style painting with a tile or plate. Intermediate students may paint an oval platter. The cost is $80 for two (3) hour sessions. You may arrive anytime during those hours but the earlier, the better.
Fees
You pay for the pottery, and the studio fee is half the price of each piece of pottery. The piece or pieces you choose range from $4 to $50. The Studio Fees include all your supplies including paints, brushes, stencils, stamps, ideas, and the love and support of the staff! Studio Fees also include the glazing and firing of your piece. If you don't finish your piece in one day, simply take it with you and bring it back for a "UFO Studio Session" for just $3.
